The oldest operating auction house in the world – Stadsauktion Auktionsverket - has a second Stockholm office in Frihamnen, also known as Stockholm's harbour area. Sales of art, antique and wine are held on weekly basis. Among the auctioned items, you can find antique furniture and furnishings, contemporary and old masters paintings, sculptures, books, old maps and manuscripts, carpets, pots, bowls, vases, clocks, watches, military items, and vintage wines.
