Established in 1925 and currently in its third generation of family ownership, Marchant specializes in Oriental art, including Imperial Chinese Ming and Qing porcelains, jades, ivories, cloisonné, pottery and ceramics. The Marchant family is well-known as an honored member of the British Antique Dealers Association (BADA), and the company carries the BADA marque on its logo. Besides holding auctions, the company also offers valuation and restoration services. A wide range of the fine antique pieces previously from Marchant are now exhibited at major museums and collections throughout the world.
