De Slegte is a bookshop located at Kalverstraat in the Old Inner City district of Amsterdam. It specializes in old and antique books, magazines and posters. The bookshop was established in 1907 by the great-grandfather of the present owner, who then set up a lending library and a trade in used books. Every year, "De Slegte" participates in exhibitions and fairs, such as the Amsterdam Antiquarian Book, Map & Print Fair 2011 in the Netherlands. It is also a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarian, CLAM-BBA association and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).
