Hell's Kitchen Flea Market, also known as the Annex, is located in the parking lot between West 39th Street and 9th Avenue. Formerly located in Chelsea, the Annex Flea moved to Hell's Kitchen in 2006 when the original vacant parking lot was re-developed. Hell's Kitchen Flea is famous for gathering all kind of collectors, artists, celebrities, tourists, and residents to shop the market for antiques, collectibles, vintage clothing, mid-century modern items, including home decorations, furniture and jewelry. Creating a balanced mix of treasures, junk and oddly interesting items, the flea keeps its prices reasonable and much lower than you could get in the antique stores, so the bargains are more than welcomed.
Hell's Kitchen Flea Market scored a place in the National Geographic's World Top Ten Shopping Streets. The flea also operates two smaller NYC weekend fleas: the Antiques Garage Flea Market and the West 25th Street Market, both located in Chelsea.
