Yesterday's News, found in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, is the sister shop of Brownstone Treasures (also in Brooklyn). It features an array of vintage collectibles and various antiques, from Art Deco and mid-century modern to shabby chic and 60's pop design. Yesterday's News looks a lot like a small flea market, much of its belongings (especially the furniture) enjoy the outside exhibit on the sidewalk. Inside you'll see stamps, teapots, kitchenware, posters, postcards, old photographs, glassware, jewelry, fiction books, old Life magazines and even human body forms. Yesterday's News's affordable prices ensure a lot of turnaround, so there's often new items coming and they don't stick around for long.
