Established in 1880, Thornhill Galleries is located at Osiers Road in southwest London. It features an impressive selection of 19th century English and French fireplaces. Its collection includes some rare marble, stone and wood pieces, as well as fireplace accessories, such as fire gates and baskets, firedogs and andirons, fire screens and fenders, coal and log buckets and many more. Thornhill Galleries is a family business that was established by Samuel Dockerill, the great-grandfather of the present owner, Graham Wakefield. Currently, the galleries are operated by the fifth generation of the family. The company provides restoration and installation services and often cooperates with interior designers, architects and private clients around the world.
