Richard Courtney started his business at Fulham Road in 1965. After forty years, the shop moved to its current location at Kensington Church Street, where it offers furniture items from 1680 to 1820, and specializes in the early 18th century walnut furniture pieces. Richard Courtney was the Vice President of the British Antique Dealers' Association for two years. The most precious items from the store's collection are permanently exhibited at the Grosvenor House Antiques Fair and at the British Antique Dealers' Association Antiques Fair at The Duke of York's Headquarters.
