[edit] About
Delehar Antiques is one of the most interesting stores at the Portobello Road. It features unusual antique scientific and medical instruments. The store is famous as one of the first participants and founders of the Scientific Instrument Fair in London, which is now held twice a year, in April and October. Peter Delehar, the store owner, is known for his inexhaustible enthusiasm for exploration. The store’s instruments date back to the 18th century and include fine examples such as clear glass, mercury thermometers, dewpoint hygrometers, rare “stretched wire” telemeters, galvanometers and many more.
