Bonhams' second London branch is located at Montpelier in Knightbridge. The salesroom hosts more than 140 auctions annually and features a wide range of lots from furniture to jewelry. The company was established in 1793 by Thomas Dodd and Walter Bonham. Over two hundred years, the company has acquired an impeccable reputation. Today, it is one of the three biggest and most prominent auction houses in the UK. It has over 700 employees and many branches all over the world, including Germany, Monaco, Switzerland, Australia and USA. Bonhams specializes in the following areas: arms and armor, antiques, ceramics, pre-1945 designs, glass pieces, clocks, watches, Japanese art, and miniatures.
