Established in the late 1950s by Jack Howland and Walter Zolezzi, Therien originally started out as an antique shop in San Francisco that was known as J.F. Howland Associates. In 1979, Jack Howland retired and Walter Zolezzi sold the firm to one of their associates, Bob Garcia, who together with his colleague, renamed the shop as what it is known today. Specializing in 20th century antique furniture, Therien has since expanded to having another showroom in Los Angeles (West Hollywood). Over here, you can find items such as chairs, armchairs, benches, desks, tables, consoles, cabinets, commodes, chests, wardrobes, mirrors, chandeliers, lamps, sconces, candlesticks, sculptures, mantlepieces, vases, urns, and many more.
