Specializing in 19th and early 20th century American and European paintings, with an emphasis on early California art, North Point Gallery is located at Jackson Street in San Francisco's antiques district. After spending 25 years at North Point Street, the gallery moves to its current location in 2000. Over here, you can find works by such artists as Albert Bierstadt, Edwin Deakin, William Hahn, Thomas Hill, William Keith, Charles Dormon Robinson and others. Its president, Alfred Harrison, who is a lecturer and an author of many articles on early California paintings, became the owner in 1985.
