Established in 1990, the Fremont Market has evolved into a thriving and diverse European-style, street market that is held every Sunday all year round. The outdoor market is held along the North Evanston Avenue, where up to 180 exhibitors feature a variety of antiques, collectibles, bygones, retro, vintage, fashion, estate sale treasures, tools, crafts and various items of regional garage sales. In addition, there is a constantly changing bazaar of colorful world imports, where new and original designers and artists also showcase their unique offerings. From April to October, the market is open every Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm; in other months, it is open from 10 am to 4 pm. The market is closed during summer when the Annual Fremont Street Fair is held.
