Established in 1954 by Morris Bernstein, Caravan Book Store is currently in its second generation of family ownership, with Morris' son, Leonard Bernstein, in charge. The shop, which is situated across the Los Angeles Central Public Library, specializes in rare and antique books on Californian history, Americana, voyages and other historic subjects. Among Caravan Book Store's wide collection of books, you can also find artworks, prints, vintage postcards, ephemera, and many more.
